Aim: To help children discover the significance of the last week of Jesus’ life on earth and his death.

STORY 1
The Last Supper and betrayal of Jesus – Matthew 26:17–56

The death and burial -Matthew 27:45–66
Friendship with God – Romans 5: 6–11
We have a friendship with God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
John 3:16: God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life.

EASTER PRAYER TO SHARE WITH YOUR CHILD
Choose 1 task from the list to complete:
9-11 CLASS
- Create a PowerPoint for ten favorite Easter quotes.
- Create PowerPoint – showing Easter theme images (like the cross, the soldiers etc.)
- Create an Easter poem.
- As a journalist for the BBC create an interview based on the account of death and resurrection of Christ. You are interviewing the women at the tomb, the soldiers and the disciples. You can include anybody who you think would make your interview extensive.
7-8 CLASS
- Create a PowerPoint for ten favorite Easter quotes.
- Create PowerPoint showing Easter theme images (like the cross, the soldiers etc.)
- Create an Easter Poem.
- Create an Easter themed craft and take pictures of the materials and the final product.
5-6 CLASS
