About Us
The Universal Prayer Group Ministry is a vibrant, faith-based organisation dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community service, and youth development. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Minister of Religion to join our team and lead our youth programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and lead youth-focused spiritual programs, including Bible studies, prayer sessions, and retreats.
- Mentor and provide pastoral care to young members of the ministry.
- Collaborate with ministry leaders to develop and implement youth outreach initiatives.
- Organise community service projects and events to engage youth in meaningful activities.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for young people from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding youth activities and progress.
- Instill African culture, particularly Ghanaian heritage, into our youth members, many of whom have familial ties to Ghana.
- Provide spiritual guidance and serve as a cultural bridge, teaching our youth Ghanaian values, traditions, and practices.
- Empower our young members to embrace their identity with confidence and pride, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and motivating them to become active, positive contributors to society.
Qualifications
- A deep commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the ministry’s mission and values.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous experience working with youth in a religious or community setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and connect with young people.
- Proficiency in organising events and managing volunteers.
